Uncertainty Reduction Theory

Uncertainty reduction theory was founded in 1975 by Charles R. Berger and Richard J. Calabrese. This theory was meant to anticipate the developing relationship between strangers. This theory goes further to relate just how when strangers meet and go through the motions to reduce anxiety about each other, and try to understand each other's likes and dislikes.
