Feedback

Feedback is a response and a means by which communicators can assess the extent to which their behavior or that of others is producing the desired response.  It allows people to determine if they are undertaking the actions needed to achieve their goals.  They use feedback as a way to determine their goals so they know if changes must be made in accomplishing the goals.  An example of feedback is receiving a report card with a person’s grades on it(Lawrence Heath, 2000).
